Is Bolide Slideshow Creator really free?

Yes. It is freeware for personal use on Windows. There is no paid edition, no trial period and no watermark on exported videos.

Is it safe to download?

Download only from slideshow-creator.com (official site). The installer does not bundle adware or extra toolbars. You can remove the program anytime through Windows Settings → Apps.

Does the program add a watermark?

No. Your slideshow videos are exported without any logo or watermark from Bolide Software.

Which Windows versions are supported?

Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11 (32-bit and 64-bit).

What video formats can I export?

MP4, MKV, AVI, WMV and FLV. For YouTube, phones and social networks we recommend MP4. See also guides for MKV, AVI and WMV.

What image and audio formats are supported?

Almost any image format: JPEG, PNG, BMP, TIFF, GIF and more. For background music: MP3, AAC, WMA, M4A, OGG and other common audio files.

How do I add music to a slideshow?

Add a music file to the project in the program. You can use one or several tracks. For legal music tips read how to find royalty-free music for slideshows.

Can I upload the video to YouTube or Facebook?

Yes. Save as MP4 and upload the file. Use royalty-free music to reduce copyright claims on YouTube. See slideshow for Facebook or YouTube.

What is the maximum resolution?

Up to 1920×1080 (Full HD). Smaller sizes are available for phones.

Can I add video clips, not only photos?

Bolide Slideshow Creator is built for photo slideshows. For a full video editor with clips on the timeline try Bolide Movie Creator.

How do I uninstall the program?

Windows Settings → Apps → Bolide Slideshow Creator → Uninstall. Or use Uninstall from the Start menu folder.
